Compton Private Hire is owned and operated by Chrissie, a professional female driver offering a reliable, friendly and discreet private hire service.
With over 21 years’ experience in Audit and Project Management, Chrissie has spent much of her career travelling extensively across the UK. Her long-standing love of driving, combined with a strong professional background, led her to take a new direction — one focused on providing a dependable, customer-first transport service.
Based in the Holme Valley, Chrissie proudly supports local families and businesses with a wide range of travel needs. Every journey is delivered with honesty, professionalism, and attention to detail, ensuring passengers feel safe, comfortable and well looked after at all times.

Our 8-seater minibus is available for airport transfers and group bookings, providing a comfortable and economical alternative to using multiple cars.
Terms & Conditions
1. Flight Delays & Changes
​
Compton Private Hire understands that flight times can change or be delayed.
We monitor return flights to ensure timely collection. There are no additional waiting charges for delayed flights.
If a flight change significantly affects the agreed booking time and Chrissie is unable to accommodate the change due to prior commitments, alternative travel will be personally arranged with a reputable local private hire operator to ensure your journey proceeds as planned.

2. Pricing
​
All prices are agreed in advance and confirmed prior to travel.
​
There are no hidden charges.
This includes:
​
Flight monitoring
Reasonable waiting time
Standard luggage allowance
Any additional requirements (extra stops, excessive waiting outside of flight delays, additional vehicles, etc.) will be discussed and agreed in advance.

3. Payment
​
A 50% deposit is required to secure all bookings.
The remaining balance is payable on the day of travel unless otherwise agreed.
Alternatively, full payment may be made at the time of booking.

4. Cancellations
​
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the date of travel will receive a full refund of any deposit paid.
​
Cancellations made within 14 days of travel may result in the deposit being retained to cover reserved time and operational costs.

5. Passenger Responsibility
​
Passengers are responsible for:
Ensuring correct travel details are provided at the time of booking
Being ready at the agreed collection time
Ensuring appropriate child seats are requested in advance if required
Compton Private Hire reserves the right to refuse travel to passengers who behave in a manner that is unsafe or inappropriate.

6. Luggage
​
Standard luggage suitable for airport travel is included.
Any unusual or excessive luggage (e.g. large equipment, multiple oversized cases) must be declared at the time of booking.

7. Liability
​
Compton Private Hire will not be held responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside of reasonable control, including but not limited to traffic incidents, road closures, weather conditions or port/airport disruptions.
Every effort will always be made to ensure timely arrival and professional service.
